Fencing Installation across the West Midlands

A fence is only as good as its posts. We fit featheredge, closeboard and bay panel fencing on concrete posts and gravel boards as standard — the combination that actually survives Black Country winters instead of blowing over the first windy week of October.

What's included

  • Featheredge (closeboard) fencing — the strongest domestic option
  • Bay panel and lap panel fencing for a quicker, neat finish
  • Concrete posts and gravel boards as standard — no rotting timber at ground level
  • Trellis tops, hit-and-miss panels and decorative options
  • Gates to match — single, double and side access
  • Old fence removal and disposal included

How it works

  1. 1

Site visit to measure the run, check boundaries and talk through height and style.

  2. 2

Written quote with the post and panel type clearly specified.

  3. 3

Old fence stripped out and taken away.

  4. 4

New posts concreted in, gravel boards set, panels or boards fixed and levelled.

Why choose Revive

We default to concrete posts and gravel boards because timber posts rot at the soil line and that's where 90% of fences fail. Spend a little more once and you're not re-doing it in five years. Every panel is set level and to line — a fence is the first thing visitors see.

FencingFAQs

What's the difference between featheredge and panel fencing?

Featheredge (closeboard) is built board-by-board on site — far stronger and longer-lasting, ideal for exposed or boundary runs. Panel fencing is pre-made and quicker to fit, a great-value option for sheltered gardens. Our featheredge vs lap panel guide covers the costs of each.

Do you use concrete or timber posts?

Concrete posts and gravel boards as standard. Timber posts rot where they meet the ground; concrete doesn't. It's the single biggest factor in how long your fence lasts.

Will you take the old fence away?

Yes — removal and disposal of your existing fence is included in the quote. You're left with a finished job, not a pile of old panels.
